there is a seperate listing if you wish to purchase the font used on this design- you can either choose to buy the design without the font via this listing or you can buy the font on its own or as a combined bundle with this exact design and font included.
Please note that on some machines the Jef file formats may state they are too large for your hoop- this is nothing to do with the size of the design or the design itself- it’s the default orientation of the machines hoop versus the default orientation of the design. Most machines will allow you to rotate the design on the machine but a few Janome models will refuse to do this, If you are unable to open the JEF files please let me know as I have a separate file of this format for those experiencing difficulties which can be sent straight away so you won’t be waiting too long.

this carriage applique is the same as the other version of this design I have listed but there are some variations to the text. You will receive three different versions of the text, the original text from the design with just the words “once upon a time” and two versions of the text variant “once upon a time there was a princess called” this is so you can add your own choice of name, the name or any fonts to add the name yourself aren’t included in this design. One version of the text has approximately 1 inch by 5 inches of empty space in the bottom of the design to add your own name without the need to rehoop your fabric, you will likely need some form of editing software to do this in terms of placement. The second version is the same text but with a slightly different layout and no space in the design to add a name, this will require you to move and rehoop your fabric so you can add a name, this option is more for those who don’t have full featured editing software. There are only two versions of the text on the 4×4 design, the original once upon a time text can be completed in one hoop, the second version will require two hoopings and there is room at the bottom of the design in the hoop to add a name. There are PDF worksheets included with hoop guides which will aid you in placement of your hoops and when adding a name, these are very useful and I strongly recommend printing these out for reference. These PDFs also contain the sewing run order and thread colours- the colours are for guidance only.
I am happy to provide additional guidance where needed.

Please ensure that the formats are suitable for your embroidery machine as I will not refund a purchase made in error.

The sizes included are 4×4, 5×7, 7×12

The image portion of the design is an applique, designed to be trimmed in place so your machine will first lay a placement line, followed by a cutting line and a tack-down stitch before completing the final satin stitching and details. An applique layout order is provided and further instructions can be provided upon request if you need guidance on completing the design.
There are two components, the applique and the text file so you can choose your own layout.

the designs have been optimised to fill the hoop embroidery area so your machine may require you to rotate the design for it to fit properly.

This image has been manually digitised and formatted by myself and subsequently the ownership of the file in the embroidery format belong to myself, please do not resell, share or trade these files in any way. You are free to use the physical embroidered designs as you wish and they can be used as part of a finished article that you have manufactured yourself to resell etc.

The image sizes are approximate and should you wish to resize it or alter them you do so at your own liberty but I can not take any responsibility for distortion or defects of the embroidered image due to alterations you make yourself.
I test every image I digitise myself on my own embroidery machine to ensure the finished design is free from defects if used in the supplied format and sizes appropriately. The thread colours listed on the design are for guidance only and the thread colours I have used on my designs may differ to your own so please adjust and convert accordingly to your requirements. When converting into the appropriate files certain formats don’t convert the colours correctly, this wont affect the stitched design but if you have trouble converting the colours I’m happy to provide a running order and colour guide.
